why are some subwoofers just loud and some are real boomy? is it because of the box design? i am lookin to purchase new subwoofers in the future, but i always wanted to kno dat

Rf T10001 @ 1 ohm

Rf P4004 @ 4 ohms

Yup box design,tuning, etc etc have alot to do with it. And the way the sub is built and what it's built for I'm sure play a part in that. However I do find that all subs go boom :)

low tuning= low and deep higher= louder and higher numbers
