how can i run my 4ohm components at 2ohms to get better power from my amp? comps are CDT EF-61fg's powered by USAmps XT800.4

get two 4 ohms and wire them in parallel to get a 2ohm load.

Inifinity does! 60.9cs for 6.5 and 50.9cs for 5.25. I haven't looked at them or tested them personally but I hear good things from them at the local shop I visit. JBL makes some too I think.

dangit!!! hmmm maybe its time for a bigger amp to run these. i love the sound i would just like them to be a little louder without distortion issues.

I had the kappa 5.25's in coaxial I think it was the 52.7's midbass response was good and they were also loudddd. I loved them, the a6450 I had on them dumped a ton of power on them at 2 ohms though. So they didn't last very, long the new components are rated at around 90RMS @ 2ohms. I think I'll check them out pretty soon, they wouldn't let you down I assure you.
