there they are....should be here by the end of the week.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

thanks man, i think they will :)

got all my 8 gauge ready to install in the wall, probably do that tomorrow after work. gonna be going straight through the wall, no nuts and bolts. the 18's also have direct connect leads :spiteful:

why do you need 80 ft of speaker wire for 2 subs? im just wondering i must have missed something

80 feet of 8 gauge power wire. divided into 8 10 foot pieces then 4 sets of 2 taped together 10 foot long, one set for each coil. simple really

yup thats the same thing i did for my build 80 ft 8g FTW

little update.

sub 1 should be here monday or tuesday...the other one was damaged by UPS. i don't know exactly how bad it is yet, UPS is shipping it back to him then he will let me know the status.

also bought a 250 amp DC power alternator, should be here later next week :)
