grizzleyadams69
my next car is most likely gonna be a grand prix ('97 - '03 body style). does anyone know if a ported box for 2 15s would fit in the trunk? thinking like 6 - 7 cubes tuned to mid 30s. i wanna put the box, amp and extra bat all in the trunk. think its do-able or no? if not ill just run 2 12's or 1 18... I am gonna say it is do-able,but you arent gonna have a trunk left after it, I am building a 6.5 cube box for my grand am(03), when it is put in I am gonna have probably about 4-5 inches left in front of the sub(this is firing at the tail of the vehicle). First of all do your seats fold down, if so it would make it much easier to get a larger box, next take height and width measurments of said opening then you already have 2 of 3 basic measurements needed to determine the size of box you will be able to fit. loburbon
you cannot fit a box for 2 15's through the trunk. i just finished my friends install for his 01 grand prix and it was for a pair of tens. and it barely fit. you can build it in the trunk if you want. and if your grand prix is like his then the seats dont fold down Quote 2000 gmc yukon 4 sundown Zv3 15's 4 dd m2a's kenwood kdc-x994 2 batcap 4000's 1 batcap 2000 dual alts. 154@37hz and climbing http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3231683 http://www.myspace.com/torque150

loburbon
no they fit in the trunk just fine. it's getting the box into the trunk. the trunk opening is tiny. once in the trunk they have plenty of room. CaptainzPlanetz
well thats the thing, i dont want to fold my back seat down. I meant you just have to fold the seats down to put the box in that way, you can usually fit a much deeper box in through the back seat opening rather than the trunk opening, at least that is how it is with my car.
