LordArcane
ok since i had some left over mdf i'm going to put a peice under my rear seat and mount the amp to it, that will still be air space between the amp on all sides(besides the bottom duh), i've seen steve and many others do it like this in suv, i got jeep liberty limited so i don't think i should have to worry bout amp getting to hot from no air flow. but wanted some other peoples input so what does everyone think should there be enough air flow to keep amp from over heating? Boon
Depends on the amps class and the ohm load you're running it at. A Class A/B running at 2 ohms might have heat issues, a Class D at 4 ohms will play all day, stone cold. You also have to be aware of the little hooky bits under the seat pulling wires out if the seats ever get folded. 10.x volts fo' life!
matt402
i think its a good place for it. it should have good air flow, if not get a cheap lil fan from radioshack.

DownSouthCustom
You can use some bolts or the snap in plastic bushings to space the bottom.
