newls1 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 I could be wrong here, but didn't "CROWN" buy (or buy into) JBL a few years back? Crown is awesome, and a very expensive. I'm willing to say, YES, JBL does do rated power. Hell, for that matter some of there amp have weird ass power ratings. I've seen some JBL amps that have "743watts 4ohm - 982watts 2ohm - etc....... I think they rate them straight up! I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
