shainemcconnell Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 man...well..I have a JL 13W7 in a ported box...well ported to the most that it can be right now. rookie class rules. Anyway... The sub pushes A LOT of air....the port is only 14x1 ins. the max I am allowed in rookie. what would be better... A ) Build a new sealed box. B ) Resin the inside of the current Box. C ) Build a new Box with a 4 in. Aero(?) port I am thinking with the restrictions and this Sub, a nice tight sealed box might be better. But I am unsure if it will raise my db. 2010 IDBL Rookie 1 North American Champion 2009 IDBL Rookie 1 Fl State Champion 2009 EBB Fly Weight 3rd Place Fl State Finals 2006 Silver Grand Prix GXP :Diablo Audio Hellfire 1000.1, JL Audio 300/4, One 13W7, ZR650, VR690, JL Cleansweep setup.
