zaxfire69 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Share Posted March 18, 2007 The Big 3..Add 0 guage wire to your engine Ground(Wire going from your engine to your chasis), Battery Ground(Ground wire going from negative battery post to your Chasis), +Altenator wire to your +Battery Terminal with a fuse the same size as your altenator. If your alternator is like mine a Mitsubishi 75 amp altenator Buy a 0 guage fuse holder and 75 amp fuse and put it between your +battery teminal and the altenator. The Big 3. I did mine on my Honda Civic and it made all the difference in the world..Could tell..Now I am getting 14.0volts to my amp at idle. I tested it yesterday..Granted my amp is tiny amp.
