travis mumford
i currently have 2 p3 15s in a jeep cherookee. and i am looking for louder. so 4 p3s is my first choice. i have them running on thier own amps which are kenwood monoblock 1000 watt amps. so the main question would 4 of the 15s be as loud as 2 fi btl 18s? i build my own boxes so they would be to spec, and i always match my amps. Beanz
well youd have a shit load of more cone area then the 2 18s so it should feel louder or if not louder. 2 18s= 508.938 4 15s= 706.8583 edit*waht kind of amps are you going to be running>? Edited June 15, 2009 by Beanz Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. travis mumford
im currently running 2 Kenwood KAC-8104D amps. i would just get 2 more of them. and they put out 500 rms. yes it is that because they are cea rated =p but i want to build them into a ported wall style box and put 4 power 6x9s in the wall. i hink that would be pretty badass. and where im from people think that 2 12 sony xplods are bad ass. so right now im king of my town =D, lol

However the two BTLs can handle at least 3k more than the P3s put together. So yes, i should change that i cannot be sure which one would be louder.
