Can anyone recommend me a nice set of 2.1 speakers cause I'm on a low budget and I'd rather have a good 2.1 system than some crappy 5.1. I bought a Tang band 5.25 and had SPLGEO from this forum build me a LOW tuned box. took the woofer out of the box which the amp was inside and wired the subwoofer to the subwoofer output. and plugged the speakers into the speaker output. then just plug the signal cable into the phone jack of your computer, cd player, or mp3 player and it sounds good. right now im in the process of building a box for the speakers so i will have the sub speakers tweeters and i will mount the amp somewhere and have my own custom set up for pretty cheap. well aroudn 150 total (woofer, original cost of the system itsself and wood and such. but if you just use the woofer you already have that will save some cash. datbenz Posted March 19, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2007 Hmm thats a nice idea, I think I'm gonna do it for my other computer, but I think I still need a new set cause those sattelites are so weak that I hardly hear lyrics when I listen to late nigh tip.
