k3n12ock
I went and got a pencil trch at harbor freight today and yes they use that kind of butane. Sad thing is, I still had to go to Home Depot to cop some butane. Could have just bought a pen torch from there for $10 but the Harbor Freigt one worked good. Tomorrow: soldering 4 gauge ring terminals. 05 xB - (2) EVIL 18s - (2) BC3500s - NO WALL Channel 1: http://www.youtube.com/k3n12ock Channel 2: http://www.youtube.com/MrK3n12ock2
Hugh G. Rection
Probably a noob question but if I bought this SOLDER TOOL, would I be able to solder two 16gauge wires together or would it be to much heat? And I could solder the 1/0 to a ring terminal? Thanks Greg if your gonna solder bigger stuff like 1/0, you need something more like a soldering torch. lowes has some good ones in the plumbing department. i personally use a MAC tools soldering torch that uses cigarette lighters for fuel. the MAC tools torch is also small enough that you can solder smaller stuff with it too.
