BeatWithoutBass Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 Hey guys, I'm currently running a Kicker L7 15'' DVC 4 Ohm in a box tuned to 32hz. My Current amp isn't the right kind at all, its a Rockford Punch 550.2 A/B amp that i have bridged at 2 ohms (I know its not stable), and it clips from time to time and the amp gets somewhat hot. I know its not good for the sub to be clipping, and I was looking into the Brutus 1608d (1100 Watts at 2 Ohms) and wondered if anyone had an opinion on it, or had a suggestion for another amp.
