kfx450r Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Well my trucks gonna need a new battery soon, and since im looking forward to a big build I wanna make sure i put in something good. Well ive found a buncha kinetik hc600s for good prices (2 of em for less than 1 yellowtop) and noticed that I can fit 2x hc600s side by side in my battery tray under my hood and 2 produce more amps than a hc1400. So would this be a good idea to put 2x hc600s under my hood as my "mains" ? The back will most likly have a hc3800. Also if I was to do this..can I run the ground from 1 battery to the chassis and just run a ground from 1 600 to the 600 thats grounded? And like I said..I can get 2x hc600s for less than a 1200 or 1400 and produce more amps. Dont even think a 1400 would fit.

That and when you are really hammering on the system there is more time to beat on the system if that is what you are doing. 2 600s are good for 1200 watts total where the 1200 is good for 1200 watts and more reserve and the 1400 is 1400 watts....

Hm..well I never play my system with my truck off..and the specs say that 2x 600s have way more amps than a single 1200 or 1400.
