Don't know if there is a thread for this, and I'm not going to look. So...who all has taken the time to break down the V.I.N #, to see when, where, and what # in production? Here is the way mine breaks down:

1) United States

2) Chevrolet

3) 6001-7000 (GVW) Hydraulic (brakes)

4) 2 wheel drive

5) 1/2 ton

6) Tahoe/Yukon

7) 5.3L V8

8) 2000

9) Janesville, WI

10) #102,826

Kind of dumb I know, but maybe somebody else might have taken the time to check their rides V.I.N

Yeah...idk about that site, it was kind of wonky, and site advisor put up a bunch of red flags on it! Over a hundred views, and nobody has done this yet? I'm sure there are other ways to look this stuff up.....if I find a good site to use, I'll post a link. I thought it might have been cool to find out a little bit about the car/truck/suv you all drive!

EDIT: I found this, it helps to break it down, you might have to look for the plant where it was made.
