Well im building a ported box for my 2 12'' kicker cvx's to sit on my back seat. I would like to thank Decaf for helping me plan it out and draw everything out!

Heres what we came up with

Today i got all the wood cut out the right size.. in the pics i just peiced it together to see if it fit together.

I have to work tomorrow so thursday ill get it put together more, and post some pics to keep you updated then

I got a little done today.

I still have to get my dowel rods so i still dont have one of the ports in and i still need to put the top. Here is a pic of how it will look..

Well this is my first box to build so got decaf to draw it out, I got it all exactly how he drew it out so I think its good. I also thought it was pretty small but I'm new to this. Lol

port is 16.5 tall and 3.5" wide = 57.75sqin

so once it bends the port gets halfed each way, so 1.75"

16.5*1.75 = 28.875sqin per chamber

should be ~13.5sqin/cuft

if there was a divider in the middle of the port it wouldnt look so odd

they looked smaller after the 90, its designed properly imo

should be ~2cuft@34hz with end correction factor included, but i didnt know what size 45s or diameter of dowel rods he was using so it might go to

if you have enough wood you should do a second baffle with a bit wider diameter holes so the subs can be recessed, plus added strength and if you match up the 45 degree angle for the port exit/entrance you would be "flaring" the port more, which will slightly lower the tuning and aid in output
