Quick question. I never installed an amp wire kit that didnt already have the fuse in place. I heard that it's a good idea to have the fuse as close as possible to the positive battery terminal but I was wondering just how close does it need to be? I was thinking about installing it about after a foot and a half on the wire is that ok?

I think within 18 inches is the suggested range, mines probably about a foot or so away. I'd say yours will be fine.

Yeah if it is 18 I'm fine the way I want to install it. Whats the proper place to ground in a trunk??? I used one of the bolts that was holding in the rear stock speaker on the top inside of the trunk when I installed my 8".... Well I finally get to hook it all up tomorrow :D :D

You can ground the amp pretty much anywhere. you just have to make sure that you mount it to bare metal. the ground wont be sufficient if its not.
