sean 371
tuned too high for daily. and maybe a lil higher for comp. DD recommends a 40 hz tuning for all their subs. Although it depends on what you like I guess. And he said he peaked at 46 hz, so why would he tune higher? Post pics when you build the box man, sounds cool I love DD subs for spl. And yea 6 cubic feet is real big for a single 15. I would do 3-4 A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall
DDlincolnon22's
yeah, 40hz. is just what matt recomended. i just want mine to be able to play rap, rock, and country good. i'll post pics once matt gets done with it, im still waiting for money to send the sub off, also, matt figured a big box would yield a bigger gain, since i have limited power. im not sure if i want to tune this to play music and have a separate port for comps. or just leave the box out unless i go to a show, idk, this will be decided once i get the truck and get it up to springfield for matt to look at Team Digital Devastation My on-going 9518 build
