I nkow soundstream has a D-tower that does 3400 rms @ .5 ohms or 2 smaller ones at 2200 rms @ 1 ohm.Ya I'm almost willing to pay for a 6000 watt amp and hook it up to two dd 9512's I'm sure that would knock someone's socks off.

DD subs are awesome. if I had the room id do it in a heartbeat. lol that gives me an idea. but anyway I def think the DD's on that much power would be great.
