siucsaluki11
Alright, sorry for another this vs that thread. Im in the market for a new sub possibly. I wanna run a single 18 for now. I got alot of friends who think 18s cant sound good, that they can just get loud. Im lookin at either a DC Audio Level 4 18 or an AQ HDC315. Ill only be able to give it 900w RMS at the moment. Hoping to get an amp to give it roughly 1500 before long. I was going to do a pretty big box for 1 18. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-8 cubes. DC's website says suggested enclosure for SPL is 8 cubes, and i can get a decent response curve with either of those woofers. Im just not sure what to go with. Anyone got experience with either company, preferably both.im Personally Im leaning towards the DC sub myself. But all input is welcome and appreciated. Thanks guys. woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port... YOU JUST LOST THE GAMER.I.P. siucsaluki11
T-money, thanks for the suggestion, but im pretty set on DC or AQ. The sub is going to end up getting 1500 when i can afford a new amp. SPL- I was thinkin of puttin it in a T line actually, lol. How does it sound and how loud does it get compared to a regular ported enclosure?
