Adding a 2nd battery, any NO No's to watch for?

Ive been hitting the search button pretty hard and think i have it figured out best for my application, but i just wanted to double check to make sure i dont go a Fubar something, and im not talking bout my subs..

300a Ohio gen Alt

big 3 in 1/0

Autozone brand stock replacemnt battery

And i did some work in trade for a SVR Audio Series Deep cycle high output sealed valve regulated battery.

*SVR80-12 is the part #*

I will be sticking this one under the hood as well just cuzz i have the room to, so i was going to just run 1/0 from the stocker to this, and run the SVR its own charge wire from the Alt. as well( or should i not need to do this??)

My amp will be here by 9am and i wanted to get it in and this battery tomorrow so any advice is great!

Sorry for bein a newb with stuff still but i do use the search button. I just like to double and triple check things when i have the slighest hint of question.

You can from the alternator to the battery, or you can hook it up from the stock battery to the 2nd battery.

Thanks! i thought i could but just wanted to make sure..I got the rack built for it today, just need about 15ft of 1/o to finish up..
