will this sub get down?

Recommended Posts

So either way im fixing to purchase a DD9512f that was just recently reconed from dd and i wanna know if this thing will get down. I got the DD2512 and its but its only running around 700wrms@2ohm. The 95 will be running at 1 ohm and the amp should be easily pushing 1200. Will i see a big increase in sound? Will this one 12 hit somewhat low at all? Im just curious.. Ill take any advice and opinions available.

it should...largely depend on the tuning of the box...Double power in therory will increase the sound by about 3 db (about twice as loud)

it should be louder. but above a certain Db your ears can not really tel the difference in sound but your body can feel it.

I agree... Box design is everything in this game...if u want quality plus volume.. check out this link... T-Line.. ive built a t-line for some really old pioneer 10's with only 150w and they sounded louder and better then a friends sony 12in xplode (i kno right?) pushing 600w in a prefab box ported...
