E a r t h Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 i wouldnt advise it, but if you have extras readily available to you, you could possibly get away with it in a temp application or quick short term use with fresh belts. i wouldnt trust it for an everyday daily driver though, that belt would start coming apart

I had to put a idler in at the crank to get my belt wrap back on the crank. and my belts are now cranked on the teeth side. E a r t h Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 you mean cracked? not the belts fault, you just need a serpentine system yeah v belts arent designed to bend that way, hence the cracking and possible chunking if left long in that arrangement
