what is ur budget and how much power are u gunna run?

and what are u trying to get out of it?

imo ied invest in a good headunit, n then mids n highs, n then mids n highs amp, n then subs, n sub amp, makes a diff or thats how i done with mine

n save save save, money helps alot on gettin good stuff

since it's going in a minivan, i'm not going for much. just 1 15", crunch GPV2000D, 4 gauge wiring. i already have an Alpine CDA-9856 H/U. i'm not worried about mids and highs though. as i said, small first setup for a minivan. budget isn't much. i'll be able to get a Q Power next week and then i'll have to save about a month or so for an amp and wiring and whatnot.

i would save...wait a little longer and get something thats a little nicer. thats just me though..

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

eah....yea, maybe. i'm just REALLY wanting to start. i've been wanting one for 2 years. last year, i bought 2 10"s and they never showed up. so this year, i did more research and whatnot on things and 15" is the way to go. so i'm REALLY wanting to start this build. as i said before, temp setup in a minivan. not staying in there and probably not going into my truck.

idk. maybe these Q Powers aren't as bad as they look. and maybe i'll stick with Q Power and have more cone area then spend $400 on a sub and have like 2 or 4, i could have like 6 or so.

This is the Q Power sub that I thought you were talking about

If you want a cheap sub that will perform good get this one instead. It is pretty badass for it's price. I saw a guy locally that had a pair in his car and they were pretty loud and sounded nice too.
