mbdblue Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 did your original shocks get replaced? cuz Id say if they didnt with an almost 20 year old car I wouldnt risk it without doing at least both shocks and springs... just to give you an idea tho, I was in love with the setup I had on my 95 accord. Bilstein struts all around and Tanabe Sustec NF springs. It feels like it in the ride but I have only had the car for about 2 weeks and the person I bought it from was the only owner ( they got it with 18 miles and I got it with 170,XXX) So first of all, replace the shocks and struts then get some lowering springs? It feels like it in the ride but I have only had the car for about 2 weeks and the person I bought it from was the only owner ( they got it with 18 miles and I got it with 170,XXX) So first of all, replace the shocks and struts then get some lowering springs? you can either do that, (like mix and match spring and shock combo) or get coilovers that come pre-assembled....but if you go past 2 inches lower, you will most likely need a camber kit to be able to do an alignment...not always, but the tires will probably wear differently... brsteinbach Posted July 11, 2009 Author Report Posted July 11, 2009 (edited) Ok since I don't have chit for money (im 17), would I be able to buy these lowering springs and get some good shocks and struts. Sprint lower springs I would get the 2 1/4" or the 3 1/4" drop. If I can do this what would you guy's suggest for some good shocks and struts that would be compatible. I wanna keep the price AS LOW AS POSSIBLE. Thanks guy's Oh and thanks again Herrie the PS turned out great. Edit: Oh and Ramen thanks for the advice but IDK if I could afford some good coilovers lol.
