anl fuse block with voltage readout...

Recommended Posts

ok so i got a fuseblock from ebay that has a voltage readout... i think its made by stingpro... anyways it has a blue wire comming from the voltage readout screen....

i think it is for the remote wire, to power the led display and to make it turn on and off when the amp and hu do...

but i could be wrong... the other though was that its supposed to be connected to the battery to show the batterys voltage... but i dont think that is the case since there is no ground wire for the fuseblock...

is it simply just a remote wire?

i sent them a question on ebay... asking what it was for.... and they replied that they have no support for the product, and that it needs to be installed by a shop for the warranty to be valid....

1st of all im not paying 50 bucks for someone to put a 20 dollar fuse block in.... and secondly... alot of installers are dumb and would be scratching thier heads over it too.... it would have been nice if their product would have came with instructions like every other product on the market... damn nice looking fuse block though...

but im guessing since the wire is blue its for the remote lead...

yeah i was going to get one of those but i lost the high bid on it within the last minute of the auction... i was pissed... i had the high bid for 2 days and up untill i would say the last 30 seconds... outbid by 50 frickin cents
