Help for a friend.

I am going to help my friend put a subwoofer in his car. We are going to go with a Fi SSD 12" . I was looking at wiring it at 4 ohms with a sound storm labs amp that puts out 1800 x 1 @ 4 . The RMS on the sub is 800 + were getting the cooling and BP power options so that increases the RMS according to the site to around 1100. Would this amp be ok for the sub, or would that much be dangerous to put to it.

Another question. For a 12" BTL (fully loaded) would this amp wired at 1 ohm putting out 2550 RMS be alright for that too?

Also, if anyone knows of another good amp for up to $250 that would be good for a BTL or a SSD please post it here.

The amp shouldn't be a problem because all you would need to do is set your gains a lil lower so it won't really be too much on your sub.
