Forevrbumpn
just by doing some simple math, I see its tuned around 38-40z, and the port area is a little tight for 1-8" @33sq inches might want to open up the line a little bit? what are the specs of the sub? Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
rckstar
what does the length of the line work out to? Quote my motto: hit it, quit it, never admit it
alaskanbass
the left side is the single 4ohm and the right side is the single 8ohm.. if any of that helps http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=27 Free Air Resonance (Fs): 35.14 Hz 35.40 Hz Electrical “Q” (Qes): 0.501 0.489 Mechanical “Q” (Qms): 7.071 6.789 Total Speaker “Q” (Qts): 0.467 0.456 Equivalent Compliance (Vas): 0.54 cu. ft. / 15.29 liters 0.57 cu. ft. / 16.14 liters One-Way, Linear Excursion (Xmax)*: 0.375 in. / 10.0 mm 0.375 in. / 10.0 mm Reference Efficiency (no): 0.127% 0.141% Efficiency (1W/1m)**: 83.24 dB SPL 83.68 dB SPL Effective Piston Area (Sd): 32.02 sq. in. / 0.021 sq. m. 32.02 sq. in. / 0.021 sq. m. Forevrbumpn
Okay, after reading the specs, your pretty much right on, but I feel it may be pretty punchy, quick bass, hard to tell because of the Q factors but 1 thing, if your sub has 1-8ohm coil, and 1 4ohm coil, dude, something is wrong there Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". kirill007
you know you need to invert the sub, right? Because the mounting depth is 4.63 inch. , and the port is 4 inch. rckstar
I think the spec he gave is for the 4ohm model and 8 ohm model, thats why theres 2 Q factors and everything else Quote my motto: hit it, quit it, never admit it
Forevrbumpn
I think the spec he gave is for the 4ohm model and 8 ohm model, thats why theres 2 Q factors and everything else I noticed, but still very close As far as mounting depth goes, I'am sure he will be using 0.75" MDF or Ply so there will be a little room behind the motor Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
