ARMYSGT_D
Did the shop try a new head unit? Do you have the noise with an mp3 player hooked up in the rcas going to the eq/amps? had noise with 3 different headunits hooked in the car no noise when i ran the eq off the ipod on aux bypassing the headunit. one other thing is i think my radio is touching the firewall behind it it reall isnt any room behind it the factory radio is smaller than aftermarket and not as deep Quote current set-up kenwood ddx 712 clarion eq focal 165 k2p front focal 165v2 rear 2 re audio sexxx 12 us amps md3d us amps md42 1 optima yellow top (rear) 1 xs power 5100r (front) big 3 and 1 run 1/0 stinger wire my build my rebuild

ARMYSGT_D
hooked up my ground loop isolater. took away the noise and my midbass so i took it right out . grounded my h/u and eq and relay with a 12g wire all to the same spot. (still noise ) straight bare metal frame replaced all the rca in the (car still noise) im fuckin stumped!!!! i figure it is the eq itself or the amp or the head unit that is bad . im thinking it is the eq that is bad it is the cheapest piece in my system. ill try bypassing it tommorrow if that aint it im going back to my factory radio and factory speakers and just be pissed everyday cause it not loud enough . lanman31337
Have you tried running from the HU to the amp without plugging into the EQ? marquettefan247
to check if your HU is bad try this. Wire the remote turn on to the accessory wire in your harness, wire up a mp3 player right to the RCAs, and if there's no noise, it's your HU. ARMYSGT_D
i also remember the only difference from before when i didnt have noice before i took my system out was the antennae plug. i did not have it hooked up because i do not listen to the radio. now i have it hooked up could this be the problem? could that bring noise into the h/u even if its not on tuner Quote current set-up kenwood ddx 712 clarion eq focal 165 k2p front focal 165v2 rear 2 re audio sexxx 12 us amps md3d us amps md42 1 optima yellow top (rear) 1 xs power 5100r (front) big 3 and 1 run 1/0 stinger wire my build my rebuild
