how much an where can i purchus those amps from

Probably a couple grand each at least. maybe a few grand.

You can contact on their websites and ask where dealers are.

Or you can look at the sound digital section on caraudioclassifieds.org

You can also look into a few Diablo 8.1s. They have a section on here.

Never heard of them.

High Current? What class topology?

With lots of power, class D is pretty much mandatory. If they are AB, they arent worth anything for SPL.

Are they built in a factory or in his garage?

It'll be hard for anyone to trust home made amps. Also hard to trust a new amp company that no one has heard of.

You can always send me a few so I can perform independant lab tests and publicize the results.

Most good SPL amps will be 80-95% efficient, be able to run as low as .25 reactive loads. Have a damping factor 200 or better.

And run very reliable and durable.

Dunno if those subs will take the power you're talking about... but either way, if you have 1 ohm now from 8 subs I'd break it down to 4 groups of 2, should get you 4 1 ohm loads, then put a decent amp on each pair... like an SAZ-3000D maybe or a DAT HF2500.1 - talking 12kwrms+ and that might get you to your USACI 160 in the kick.

The loudest SS1-2 car here (162.2dB IIRC) uses 2 18's on approximately 16kw. And you can be sure as hell it doesn't play music.
