hdrox88 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Do you mean you want to have 3 of those amps for your 3 subs?
BRC225 Posted July 22, 2009 Author Report Posted July 22, 2009 Do you mean you want to have 3 of those amps for your 3 subs? yes because i know that its only about 3000 tru watts what do u think
hdrox88 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 I dont have experience with those mentioned brands, but, putting double the rated rms to a speaker is a bad idea unless you really know what you are doing. What do you plan on doing with this setup?

What do you plan on doing with this setup? Im putting them across the back dash of my gs300 i just need to know what one single amp i could put on them for em to bang there 3000 max 1500 rms i would put 15s in the trunk but i have a firewall had to sell my old system to get ths one and its gonna 5 times more expensive if i buy 3 amps and 3 subs im looking at over 2k i just want to put one amp on em but one speaker pulls so much juice
Basshead08 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 First, max ratings mean nothing. RMS is the important one. As for amps look into the AQ 3500. Beast of an amp that would do those woofers some real good for a good price. http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQ3500D.htm System tear out has begun...Out with the old i have a iq of 128 i graduated at the top of my class tell me how im reatrded you are the 1 thats dumb as hell you can't even spell Look at the underlined text hahahahahahahaha I think of it as the virgin losing the virginity technique not just jumping in to it, and pounding away, but going at it slowly over time, to get to that full extreme

hdrox88 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 That is a lot of power for one amp to kick out. I think the three amp idea would be better for that amount of power, just maybe not such powerful amps. Just my opinion though. It's all up to you. You could try the Rockford T1500-1BD. Three of those would be great. Strong and clean power. They are good for about 1800 rms at 1 ohm. Unfortunately that will be a nice chunk of coin just for the amps.
