Need help with design of rebuild pic page 27 Build For 4 DC Level 4XL 18's In A Blowthrough

alright just payed for the stetsom 7kd and hes going to be shipping it tomorrow so i should get it soon. and tonight im going to start the build for the topper. my girlfriend called around and ended up over 1000 for it. so im going to build it out of some osb that we have and lots of layers of fiberglass. and some gloss black paint. and ill talk to my people and see if i can get my hands on 2 big sheets of 1/4 plexiglass for the front window and back one so i can still see out the rear window. still got to get 4 more runs of 1/0 and 2 more kinitic 2000's

well im still waiting on a shipping # so i can track the stetsom and he said hes going to be shipping it today. if i get help tonight im going to be getting a few sheets of mdf for the 18's bandpass and for a t line for one p1 12 for the explorer so i have some bump wile im driving. and i also have 2 other people that i have to build boxes for. another t line for brandon and a box for a friends car.

and i need some help guys so do u think that i could buy a normal fiberglass topper and cut 14''s out of the middle and then fiberglass the seam back up with a few layers. or do u guys think it wont hold. i've never done fiberglassing but my dad has a few times and he said that it wont hold one bit.. can someone help me on that

I can help you out but I don't know what you are trying to ask. Your going to cut 14" out of the roof?

yeah because i measured my bed and then my moms topper and hers is 14'' wider then mine

Oh! Lol so your going to try to cut a middle section out and reglass it?

I don't think it will look that good because after you cut it out the shell won't line up with the cab. Stepside toppers are smaller then they angle to become bigger to match the cab width.

In the end tho it's up to you if you think it'll look good then try it. But it will be ALOT of work fyi.

It can be made well to hold up. But lining up would be waaayy harder
