I need a battery that's no more than 8 inches high, 10 inches wide, and 15 inches long. I would prefer to spend less than 250 if possible. My comp setup (Not bad for what it is): HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with: 15.4" widescreen AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor 2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz) Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD 128MB shared video memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit 12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours) What it does: On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

Fish Chris Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Hey 92', a lot of guys like Odyssey batteries. You might have heard of them. Great batteries. Kind of like a deep cycle, in that they can be discharged way down, and recharged fully, with almost zero effect on the battery.... Yet they put out a lot of cranking amps (all at once amps) too. Problem is, they are very expensive. Probably more than your $250 budget. However, while I was doing my battery research, I learned from an Odyssey employee, that Sears Platinum P1's are actually Odyssey batteries, which have simply been relabled, and sold for a substantial discount. I got mine for my F150 for $189, and I love it ! I beat the $#!+ out of it all the time, for more than an hour with the truck not running, and have not been able to kill it yet. They make all sizes. Check them out. Well, I don't know about the "other Sears batteries" (the ones not produced by Odyssey) so that could very well be. But the the Platinum P1's are awesome ! And, they can be picked up (locally for most) at any Sears store.... with no shipping cost. Peace, Fish BTW, I had a good conversation with the Sears guys (young guys, one of whom had a system in his car) where I actually informed them about who made their Platinum P1's, and how great they were. He was so appreciative, that he gave me me core charge refund, but let me keep my like new, stock battery too (wanted to keep it for my boat)...... and he had already decided to get one himself, before I even left
