BLuejoules
hey guys, Im planning on getting one of these fans for my amp since it gets hot as fawk. But theres only a power and a ground wire, how could I connect it so the fan only comes on when the amp comes on? Im sure theres an easy way to do this im just not thinking of it IG: devinthydude
Mtgrooves
Just put the power wire to the fan on the remote turn on wire to the amp and you'll be all good The Shoe Maker without shoes!
BLuejoules
huh that is easy, can I just put the wire in the REM terminal or do I have to splice into the wire. heh sorry with the dumb question, but Im pretty when it comes to wiring lol IG: devinthydude

raytard
the right way is to wire a relay in to supply it and turn on with rem power from the h/u this way the relay is powering the fan, not the h/u Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
Boon
.7A is still a lot on a remote line. A lot of headunits say not to pull more than 0.25A through it... 10.x volts fo' life!
brewer_brewer
i would just run a remote wire from the ignition, so that anytime your ignition is on the fan will be also. that is a decent current draw to ADD on to the current draw from the amp.
