Extra bettery in the trunk?

connect + from front batt to + back batt.

- front batt to - back batt

- back batt to sanded down bare metal on the body of the car.

use search next time :)

the back battery will charge frm the battery in front right..

alternator charges front bat...front bat gives power to rear bat...also, I would fuse the power line goin from the front to back...just a suggestion

Definitely fuses the positive to positive with a 300 amp fuse, you don't want a car fire lol

Just curious, why do people even bother buying a long strand of 1/0 gauge and wiring the neg to neg if they don't need it?

Because they are told that it is needed. When you get into chasing .1 of a db it might make a difference but for the average person it is not a significant increase that would make it worth the expense, hassle or time it takes to do it. That is just my 2 pennies though.
