Alright guys, I got my samples from DistinctiveFabric.com and have been pondering which material to use to wrap my amp rack with all weekend and can't make up my mind so i'm asking you guys for help.

My interior is black and i'm contemplating accenting my door panels with the same material just to break things up a bit, add a little character, so grey is going to be the color since my headliner and various plastic parts are grey too.

So the question is, do I use Ostrich or Suede?

I'm sure you all know what Suede looks like, but here it is anyway (the light grey material)

So the samples turned out nice?
Yeah man, if I would have ordered blindly I could have been disappointed cause I got 3 suede samples, one was too thin, the other didn't look to be the same color as on the website but the last one was perfect; not too thick, not too thin, perfect nap, it doesn't stretch but it's flexible enough to where I don't think that'll be an issue.

I got two ostrich samples, black and grey, I only ruled out the black one cause it won't accent my door panels at all. They seem they'd be perfect for flat surfaces but could be a challenge for my door panels. Personally, i'm leaning towards Ostrich for the amp rack and Suede for the door inserts.

The more I think about it, the more I think that would be the way to go. Ostrich amp rack, Suede door inserts, Suede armrest (center console)

check out my build I think page 6 or 7 at the top to get an idea of suede in the door panels.

I love it it looks really clean.

make the amp rack ostrich and the doors suede.

I like that color of suede too.

Yeah, that came out clean man. Did you lay down any padding or anything under the suede? I don't have any fabric in my door panels, it's all plastic. Just wondering if I could just lay the suede right on top of that or if there's more to it.
