1ohm and 2ohm

an amp that puts out 2000 rms at 2 ohms would give your subs about 1000 a piece...might I suggest take a look at diablo audio amps if you want to get another amp

either 2 HF 1000's or 1 HF 2500 would be awesome. :)

take the number of coils / the ohm load / the number of woofers = your final ohm load

so say 2 dual 1 ohm 15's

2 coils / 1 ohm / 2 woofers = 1 ohm final load

ok i see now so im hooking up both coils on each sub but its still a 1 ohm load on each. creating a 1ohm total. so i need a amp that will do 2000 rms at 1ohm right

do not only hook up one coil...on each sub....Not a good thing. follow Exposport's pic post

you got dual 2 ohms. each speaker alone can be wired to 4 ohms or 1 ohm.

if you wire each sub to 1 ohm....then you can wire the subs into either 2 ohms or .5 ohms.

if you wire each into 4 ohms then you can wire the subs into either 8 ohm or 2 ohms,

use that link and you should get it right every time...
