daily sub

you can see in my sig what i curently have. i was just curious is the BTL going to be about the same as the NS, a spl sub? or will the BTL play more daily? ie more clean? what sub is more for daily or are they both built for SPL. im looking to push 2 15's on my 3500d. but looking for more ground pounder approach then spl. or is it just in the box?

id redo what you have rather then change up subs considering they are all pretty close

^^^ Seems your interested in the SPL subs, cant really get both equal, so pick one and work with it.

yea thats what i was thinking, this NS is a beast. and i was thinking that they are all pretty similar. im just getting sick of making box's as im not happy with what i make.. hmm maybe thats a sign haha. but i might just hold off with this box until i get my 2nd 15. i just dont think they way i have my subs facing and port isnt the best way. now i just need someone that knows what they are doing to help me design a box because its not going to be a rectangle and i wont be able to figure out cubic feet of it.

p.s how do you calculate cubes of non rectangular box's? i have a desgin. just cant figure out how to calculate internal cubic feet.

You can calculate it in portions and add together....or if that doesnt work u can also go buy packing peanuts..they come in certain volumes and fill the box up till you figure the size.

well arent the lvl 4 xls the spl sub? or is that just the lvl 5? what about the FI BL's? but then again they are only rated for 1000 watts, i was looking for a sub to handle 1500-2000 watts

with the right box the BL will handle 1500 watts.

make sure you get it fully loaded though.

I inverted mine and have the air conditioning vent pointed right on the magnet so I can bump all day long.

well yea i wouldn't order a FI unless it was fully loaded. but i have to make a choice, order another 15 NS, or go FI BL, or FI BTL, or DC LVL 4 XL, but i dont want to do it and have the same out come as it will be a big waste of time. im thinking its just the box and the way the port and sub are facing.
