st185 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Hi everyone, my name is Ignacio and i need some help from u guys. I have a Toyota Starlet 96 with a Sony CDX-GT460US headunit, a Kenwood Kfc-w3010 with a nice enclosure, 2 B52 ZR-695, and 2 Old Speakers in the dash (ill replace them soon) and my amp that is a SONY XM-ZR604 (its powering the subwoofer and the 2 B52 6x9s). I dont have much money to buy a new one, i have 250$us atm, so i was thinking on buyimg a new amp for my subwoofer, and use the Sony amp to power the 2 6x9s and power 2 mids that i want to buy and put them on the doors (the Sony amp is 4ch) so here is the question, considering that buying the new speakers will cost me like 50 or 60$us, can i buy something good with 200$ ? something nice for my subbie ? Thanks
enemyofsilence Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 that sub is rated at 200w rms so i would match it up with this amp RF punch edit: what ohm is the sub? Team Bass-Hz

enemyofsilence Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 well you dont have to go rockford. it was just a suggestion. but seeing that you live in bolivia and have sony, pioneer and kenwood there, then i would go with those. it would be easier on your part. just make sure the amp is 300w rms and you should be good to go. edit: it would be better if the amp was 200w @ 4ohm. just look around at what you have and try to match it up Team Bass-Hz
st185 Posted August 6, 2009 Author Report Posted August 6, 2009 that sub is rated at 200w rms so i would match it up with this amp RF punch edit: what ohm is the sub? sub is 4 ohm that amp is kinda expensive for me
