I sent this to a guy on youtube about his video. "Yo man i have watched like all your videos and in some of them u say your amp is not running at full power yet, how do you make your amp not run at full power? is it the gain nob? i have been into car audio for quite some time but got my car on Feb 1, 2009 and got first system 1 month later, done all myself and had to ask a few questions to a local audio shop. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
CaptainzPlanetz Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Ya could you clarify your question a bit, for instance if your amp gain is all the way down you wont see full power, if the amp makes its power at 1ohm and is wired at a higher load you wont see full power, if your amp pulls a ton of power and you dont have the Alt/Battery to back it up it wont make full power, lots of things..... ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ All BS aside, If I see one more comment in here that is NOT about the pre-sale, I will start the vacations. And that includes the trolls feeding the trolls. To the first question it would not be worth the price and time, to the second question the manufacter lists what the amp is stable down to I.E. most commonly 1,2, or 4, ohm loads, however some companys amps which are rated to be stable down to 1 ohm can actually be dropped lower I.E. .5 ohms, given that you have the proper electrical to back it, doing this will yield in higher power output, but will also will require more power input. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
