Recommended Posts

I have a 2" drop on my eclipse

and I now bought some sick 18x8.5 F - & - 18.9.5 - R,

Not problem in the front,

the back sticks out more, and when im in the car the tires rest on the quarter panel,

any way of fixing this? or do i need to swap out to a different spring ...

Not sure but maybe you can roll the fenders.

I had this same problem and it worked for me. Depends how bad it is though. Besides that, I don't know. Maybe someone else can help.

thank you the tire hang out about an inch out of the rear fender so it will not work for me.

I may just have to sell my 2" drops and get like a 1" drop

Just roll the guard. Any decent tyre/performance place should be able to do it or tell you somewhere than can. Or if you don't mind being ghetto as fuck then you can do it with an aluminium softball bat...

see the rear come out to much, its on all stock springs now but once lowered the tire in the back only keeps the car from even moving on a 2" drop..

Going back to stock height, or a one inch drop will be cheapest option

yeah your right

i got the 2" drops on ebay now,

i just remember i bought the springs for a gst hard top, i need springs for a spyder or gsx, due to added weight, the lower spring rate on a heaver car made it slam even more.
