FiBTLcivic Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Ok so atm i have 2 fi BTL 18s fully loaded walled off in my 97 honda civic 4 dr. Running 2 hifonics Brutus 2006 amps. Im looking to rip this system out and rebuild something to go into my trunk but i dont know wat to buy. Ive been looking around for the last month now at a bunch of different woofer and i was wondering wat u guys would think would be a good build. I know i can fit 2 15s 4 10s or 12. I want to stay away from the 18s till i get a bigger car. I want something that will sound good but still be loud. http://www.youtube.com/user/streetracerss thats my channel on youtube u can check out wat ive had before. But im really just tossing up different woofers and i really dont know wat to go with. Atm I would just buy 1 woofer and get the rest later but i can do 500 or less. Any ideas? Also wat are your impressions on the RE XXX i would get a pair of 12s if i picked those up.
Decaf Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 2 15" *** xcons 2 15" dc lvl4xl 2 15" sundown nightshades all would like 2000w if u do 4 12s or 10s the options are way to numerous... its more about budget and either way ull need more than 500 why not keep 1 18 and use both amps in 6cuft box... whats wrong with ur current setup?
Austin175 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 i would say dc lvl4xl 15"s or 4 12" dd's kia spectra 4 door HU-a kenwood kdc-692x optima red top under the hood ( kinetik battery or powermaster in the back ) Iraggi 260amp H/O alternator 1 set of knu kandy 1/0 guage wiring kit ( 2 more sets coming ) front speakers - back speakers - 2 12" lv 4's with lvl 5 softparts ( going to be 4 in near future) Sundown 3500d( going to be 2 sometime ) i have boughten from - Bass14(smd), ddbump(caraudioclassifieds)

Well the main reason i put it there is because i wasnt even legally able to carry any passengers i just got my license and i got a ticket for it. I just wanna have more of daily driver that isnt a wall since the end of this month i can actually legally have people in my car. I mean dont get me wrong the thing slaps sounds good and i get all those puzzled surprised looks at school and i love it i just want something less hectic(spelling sry)
