But seems like with so many younger members here they don't see spending the on DD is worth it. They look at the specs of the woofer and see a similar one for 1/2 the price, then go with the cheaper one. LOL Im 23, but your right about that man DD is pretty expensive but you get what you pay for. Once I heard DD's for the first time I became a user for life. Next year should be alot of fun! Are you going? I think Rudskogen will be a blast, my brother was there last year and he had the time of his life down there and I was stuck in the garage doing glassing, lol! And other series DDs, but i do have to say my z9512 is the best. I have mine in a horn box. I tuned the box to play a pretty wide range, On 2000 watts in a scion tc the other day i did a 147.4. I agree with convictedfellon im young and its worth paying the price for doubleDDs. 4 Lunar 1500s 1 dd Z9512 mids and highs 2 Lunar 2200s bridge per side 1 set morel 6.5 Vifa Morel Lpg tweets 1 set morel 5.25 1 Lunar 255 center dif. 1 DD 5.25 coax center chan

I`m considering a horn box for daily use, I want something that plays a wide range too, still waiting on a response from Pete at PWK though. Awesome score you got man! gooblunar Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 i didnt get the plans from PWK. I designed the box ,with a little bit of coaching from the guy I work for. I had tried a bunch of dif. ported boxes that were more one note wonders, and still didnt perform like this horn(on the same freg.). It plays anything u give it and with a very equal output. And louder then the one hit wonders. berniebp87 Posted November 17, 2009 Author Report Posted November 17, 2009 This is how it looked like when the box was torn out, a real mess. but that is going to change. All of the amps are going under the box and make something like Meade did. One of the reason I`m doing this is because I`m expecting a little baby boy next year and this will make it alot easier to take the box in and out to make room for the baby stuff. Now it will be just disconnect some screws and slide it out.
