running 2 batteries together

Im looking into replacing my battery in the engine bay, and adding one in the trunk. besides the batteries and the wires do i need to run any fuses or anything in between the 2 batteries? just wondering i have never done this and i dont want to ruin anything. would 2 batteries be plenty for the setup i have going on in my sig? thanks guys

no offense, but you dont have much going on to be honest with ya. 1 EXCELLENT batt up front, and BIGIII, should hold ya off just fine. If your wanting to put a batt in the ass end, just 1 would suffice. For the front batt in your car, I think a HC1800 would be perfect, and a HC2000/2400 (way more batt then you need, but great for future upgrade)

**EDIT** Look at a deka 9A31 AGM batt. For like a 180$ has like 105AH/1100CCA and is close to 70lbs

ok cool, im not going to put a batt in the back if there is no reason to if i can get a good bat in the front and it can handle the load alone. thanks for the suggestion man appreciate it.
