That doesn't suck. He went on an awesome vacation and by doing this he found out his girlfriend is a DUMB, and I mean dumb,crazy psycho, and a potential cheater (techincally she was single ). I say good for him, that was the smoothest end to a soon to be horrible relationship anyone could ever ask for. Hope he has a MUCH better girl now.
