sub getin warm

can figure out why my sub is gettin warm the amp is only turned up between 1/4 and 1/2 of the way up. bass on the headunit is on -7 but the media expander button is on becuse it makes everything sound better. i don't think the music i play is clipped because i got 98% of it off decafs slowed music. also i have the volume normally on about 21 or 22 out of 35

any ideas of how to make is so it dosen't get warm

it's a dc level 4 and an audiopipe 1500d

well after i blew the voice coil in my lvl 4 the middle was really hot

Why a sub would get hot 1 clipped signal 2 distortion(sp) 3 to much power 4 wrong kind of box and 5 playing to far out of tuning range

voltage drop, my Fi 18 ssd will only get warm when my voltage will drop

on hot days sends pre mature clipping to the amps signal.

haven't seen my voltage drop below 13 was going to do big 3 today but it's raining on and off
