CR Boom Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Here is a question, was reading another post and it brought up a question.. To make it simple, one SVC 4-ohm, and one svc 2-ohm. Say at that load, the amp makes 2000 watts, will each sub see 1000, and will they act the same? 2007 Great Wall So Cool 4-12' RE audio MX's Stetsom 7k2D 6-Batts 3-Mechman 250 amp Rhino's

Say at that load, the amp makes 2000 watts, will each sub see 1000, and will they act the same? The sub that is a lower ohm load will recieve more power, making the 2 ohm sub move alot more than the 4 ohm sub. If you had a SVC4 ohm and a DVC 2 ohm sub then if wired corectly both will see even power. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ troy Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 yea bc in a perfect world everytime you half the resistance(like going from 4 to 2 ohms) it typically would double the power. retarded build on the way..... 2000 bagged s10 2 hdc3 15s aq2200 aq4x90 stinger/knu wire optima batteries 220 amp alt fosgate hu/mids and highs
