iTech
Whoa that one 3" Port is not enough port area. You're gonna get ALOT of port noise., and probably won't sound loud/pleasant/etc. For about 5 cubes (Each Cubic Ft. needs 12-18 Sq. in. of port area) To have enough port area for 3" ports you would need about 10 or 11. To have enough for 4" ports you would need about 6 About 2 or 3 for 6" ports Edit: I have to use minimum of 1 6" port for my 12" Sub. Too much port area is also bad, Just sell that port and do a slot port. And its figured by r*r*3.14...... Where did you get 10 or 11 with 5 cubes? realistically you can squeeze by with about (6) 3" aero ports Edited August 20, 2009 by footlongsam Quote --Sampson 816-591-6592 www.kcrimshop.com

Noobtastic14
I agree Skittles. i've used two 6" per 18 two 4" per 15 one 4" for 12 and one 3" or 4" for 10s The efficiency of a round port makes up for the lack of area IMO -Drew Quote I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional.
