enem178 Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 My head unit is an Alpine 9813, I have two amps, the RFP p4oo-4 powers the polk db651's in the doors. The RFP 700s powers my subs. Both of these amps have a crossover on them and so does the head unit. Currently I have the amps set the AP (All Pass) and I use the head unit as my sole crossover. If you were in my position is this the way you would run the crossovers? If im doing something wrong or if anybody has any suggestions PLEASE voice them!! Thanks In Advance!!!
2loud4uboyz Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 I would set the high end roskford amp on hp and set the rochford amp on the subs on Lp and still use the headunit to boost the crossover points with the head unit too. And set the setting on the amp if it has adjustable crossover point , adjust the amp to there sweet spots were everything sounds best. I hope this help ed Peace
