I just got rid of my blazer yesterday, and just built a new box for 2 12s for it a week and a half to 2 weeks ago now. I miss the car so much. But the dealership let me tear the stereo out before they sent it off (but not till i gave a few demos to the service guys, lol). cool i would really appreciate it... and james i didnt mean anything bad when i said "chime in" , and also im really short on cash so yea i am lookin for a freebie... This works for till i get the blown amp fixed] Alpine 4ch salvaged from blazer (currently near death)9887 peerless 7s in the doors and CDT tweeters ran active no speakers in the rearKintik HC1400 under the hood.metered once a while ago, dont remember it...was piss poor compared to the blazer, mid 130s i think....looking to replace subs and amp when i have money. And isnt 5.5 a bit small for a pair of 15s? How high are you willing to go with your box? How high are you willing to go with your box? ill measure again tonight but im 99.9% sure its 51" and i think right under the windows would be 16" but i could go 18" or so. im probly not gonna be competeing so its not a big deal. and im pretty sure rockford recomends 2.75 cubes per sub for the T1 15 so that would be 5.5 cubes total right?(after displacement and bracing.) if you need anything else let me know... Only thing is some of the stuff hes sayin i cant quite envision so hopefully he just gave me the max dimmensions i was workin with. My last box in my blazer was 38x16x23 and it came out to a bit under 5 cubes tuned to 32Hz with 58 IN^2 of port.
