so i was searching around on the internet for a new amp and saw this little thing: http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=3077

it says that its 2900 watts at 1 ohm, but is this rms or is it max? i have read on here one time before that there is no such thing as a mox power rating on an amp but i was just wanting to make sure before i went out and bought something.

That isnt 2900 max. I beleive its 2900 RMS. But i dont know to much about alphasonik so dont take my advice lol.

Alpine SWR-1542D 15" sub

Sealed Subwoofer Box

MTX mxa 6001 Class D 774watts RMS @ 2ohms

MTX Bass Knob

Pioneer 6.5's in doors

MTX Thunderdome 6x9 in rear

12 gauge Monster speaker wire to Sub

i really have no idea, but i would think that its rms...

any other input?

Yeah, Alphasonik is a trustworthy company with quality products. My senses tell me that looks like the RMS rating of that amp. Here's a link to ampguts off ROE from someone that tested theirs for RMS wattage. The insides look like they are capable of High RMS outputs. I know it's not the amp you were looking at, but similar.

well, i called techronics and asked them (shoulda done it in the first place lol) and they said it was rms so i think i might be looking into this and a btl in the future
